This post is for all you parents and those legally able to drink in the United States: This summer, visitors ages 21 and over get free beer at Busch Gardens! Here’s all you need to know on scoring your free beer!
Where to Get Your Free Beer at Busch Gardens
Get your free beer inside the Garden Gate Cafe, a short stroll from the Busch Gardens entrance. It’s the building with the blue/turquoise roof near the flamingos. You can’t miss it!
The lines are fairly long considering this is the only place at Busch Gardens to get your complimentary beer, but the lines move quickly enough.
If you’re hungry, the Garden Gate Cafe also offers a decent selection of flatbreads and oven-toasted sandwiches. It’s also air-conditioned, so a nice place to take a break and enjoy your (free) beer.
Two Free Beers Every Visit
You get two free 7-ounce beers every time you visit Busch Gardens! The selection changes every other week and include Bud Light, Yuengling, Shock Top, Miller Light, MIA 305, and Founders All Day IPA.
During our visit, Bud Light and MIA 305 were the available selections. I sampled one of each!
They only allow you to get your free beer one at a time per their policy, so you have to line up again to get your second one. They stamp the back of your hand each time you get a beer, so that’s how they keep count.
I did observe a guy chug his first beer in front of the cashier so he could get his second one without having to line up again, which they did allow.
Promotion Runs Between May 1 and August 5
This promotion is only available for a few months, so make sure to take advantage of this!
